I noticed something about stories when I was a little girl. Somehow, many of us react and connect to stories on the screen more easily than our own lives. Incredible healing comes from storytelling; there is persuasion and power. I’ve always loved it. Whether it's a documentary, music video, film or commercial--there is always a magical element of so many pieces working together to tell a tale to the viewers. I love it. I live for it.

Working in both Nashville and LA, as well as taking countless productions on the road across the US, has had such major impact my development as a human. I started working in this industry right out of college, as soon as I realized that there was no chance costume design for theater was going to be a stable financial option. I still love live theater, but have found a far more viable career in film. I’m really proud of the stories I’ve helped tell, especially recently, highlighting the incredible abilities humans have and the beautiful wealth of their talents. It’s also helped me learned to live with constant depression; the challenge to tell valuable stories well has been tantamount in getting me out of my own head, my own narrow perspective, and forcing me to see the joy that so many others have learned to battle out for themselves.

I chose this career for the storytelling, for the impact stories have on me, and for the countless others who have found healing as well. My goal is to spend the rest of my time finding more and more nuances of life to share, and putting them on screen in a thoughtful, respectful, and encouraging way.
